5:10 PM
Look who came to visit and try to steal my orange juice!
Culture Shock was this weekend. Discovered that no one really wanted to actually do Culture Shock this year, which was a relief, because I just wanted to see everyone all in one place and didn’t really care about any of the music (except Mal) and it was cold and oh my god too cold and too loud. I hung out with Roisin, Mal, Jessie, Chrissy and Erica for a bit, saw Tara and spent most of the night in Rachel’s studio, where Jakob eventually joined us. Anti-Shock again, and it was nice.

Photojojo is holding a contest for their mini digital camera and to enter you have to submit a photo of you being sneaky.
Conveniently, this happens to be the last photo I took this weekend while shooting Ali & Ali’s senior project advertisements. Sneaky sneak monster taking pictures in the dance studio mirrors without using the viewfinder, that’s me!
1:31 AM
11:00 AM
Flaming Butterbeers (as instructed by You Deserve A Drink). Chrissy later lit her hand on fire, but was uninjured by the event. I think.

2010 in photos
(by month)
There were other photos from these months that I wanted to use! July especially. Maggie’s Roaring 20s party and my first Chicago trip of the summer. People in the photos are all named when relevant.
january: so many great parties (Ali found a sign somewhere?) — february: Dan Deacon at the Stood — march: Zombie Prom (necessary stop in the hall of mirrors with Pie and Stevie) — april: Eric having experiences at Culture Shock — may: weekend nights out on the lawn (Deathron, Ali, Chrissy, Elan) — june: hanging with the Moving Mountains boys on their tour (Marissa, Kenny, Josh, Frank) — july: sunset chasing and firefly catching (Rachel, Alex, Bridget, StephCoz) — august: second Chicago trip of the summer (Allie, Stevie) — september: becoming friends with the most fantastic people in the world (Chelsie, Annie, Rachel) — october: woodsventure with Rachel and Suzanne — november: Menya playing at Women Out Loud — december: omfg I have a lensbaby and I missed Marissa this semester
In my heart it’s the five of us, in white houses.
(If you think I’m referencing Vanessa Carlton, wake up and smell the Menya.)
1:50 AM
a salute to you too, ma’am
“I’m getting kind of tired of the whole hook-up thing.”
“You’re allowed to be tired of it, you have a lot of sex. But I do not have enough sex and it is not okay.”
“I don’t have any sex and I’m fine with it.”
A ladycop strolls through our corner of the library.
“You’re a virgin, you’re allowed to not have sex. I need to have more sex.”
12:47 AM
“If you date him, you’ve got the reign to make him cut his hair. ‘I’ll fap you more if you cut your hair…’ ”
“You have to play it biblical. Cut his hair while he’s sleeping.”
“Consider, Samson’s power was in his hair. So if [his] power is all in his hair, and his power is all Co-op related, then cutting his hair would make him ULTIMATE!”
3:24 AM
circa 4 am sunday morning probably?
- Chrissy: [Talking about a hundred things at a million miles a minute, for 12 hours straight.]
- Stephanie: You're lucky I've done a lot of coke and know how to handle all these tangents. Actually, it's really impressive that you always bring them back to where you left off.
- Riley: 30 minutes later you still remember!
- Stephanie: Like I said. Just go ahead and keep talking.
- Chrissy: [Talking about a hundred things at a million miles a minute, for 12 hours straight.]

This was probably the highlight of 2am-11am. Shame it only happened for like 10 minutes. Chrissy beat me every time though.
