This is my personal blog, a journal of my life; my blog of pretty things (et cetera) is here. Twenty-three. Might as well be five.
I just moved to Portland, OR, so if you're a Portland-living person, say hi! New friends for a new city are much appreciated.

Aw man, I miss my bookstore. Borders #1, RIP. (I realized the entire chain closed, but the closure of the flagship in Ann Arbor really hit me personally.)

In other news, I’m really enjoying this book. And I love that each chapter begins with a dedication to a different bookstore.

Borders #1. I felt like I might cry, walking through the store for the last time.

Borders store #1 in Ann Arbor. I was hoping to get photos of “going out of business” or “liquidation sale” signs in the windows, but there were none to be seen. I’m guessing they’re waiting a few days, since the AA art fairs are this week.
