I hope Rick Santorum tries to buy a MetroCard while the train is approaching but the machine won’t read his credit card.
*And I hope that train he misses is the G train.
*And I hope he needs to buy one because he just bought an unlimited yesterday, but he somehow lost it before he could use it.

I have been Google+ Hang Out-ing with Riley and Melanie for a few hours, and Melanie is calling the guy she is seeing her “beau,” and I really like it.

Going to have a heart attack. Had a dream that I was preventing a werewolf attack but it turned out the werewolves were designed to wipe out a virus that created a zombie-esque race called The Others. The Others had X-Men-type powers but a driving force to infect or kill everyone else. So I ended up fighting The Others pretty much alone, and losing, and it was all my fault in the first place for...

I love that Brosheen knows that when I say I need two minutes to makes myself look presentable, it means I’m putting on glasses and throwing my hair in a ballerina bun.
I finally got around to updating Firefox, and it switched the position of “open link in new tab” and “open link in new window” and my brain is SO confused.

I’d say “I should stop staying up all night just to finish a book,” but really, it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures to finish a novel as the rest of the world is just waking up.

How does my personal blog have nearly 400 followers when my blog of pretty/funny things doesn’t even have 100?

So there’s this song. I am positive it exists. The internet insists it doesn’t. The lyrics go something like,
I’ve got the Grable grace I’ve got the Grable face though I’ve had it much longer than she gee if I only had her personality
and if anyone can find this song for me, I’ll love you forever. I believe it’s from the 40s, but it could be later.

Oscar Week: In Defense Of Extremely Loud &... →
I really want to comment on this article and say something to the effect of “duh, Oskar’s search for all the people named Black is a KADDISH” but that would be, you know, rude. Plus JSF never got back to me on that one when my professor insisted I was being ridiculous and forced me to email him to ask if it was intentional.
Anyway, I maintain that EL&IC is Oskar’s...

Obituaries Are the Best Place for Score-Settling |... →
I always thought it was weird when I heard about people collecting obituaries. But now that I know some of them are hilariously awesome, I think I might spend some more time reading them.
